At 21, Nick had established his first advertising business after graduating from Art School. He used this to platform the launch of his second business designed to take ultimate advantage of demand for the world wide web. This company thrived and Nick enjoyed building a team and six figure sales. Simon joined the business as CTO to focus on understanding and delivering the latest technology.


During this time they looked to take stakes in ecommerce partnerships, using the expertise that proved so successful with agency clients. In 1999 they formed their first partnership retailing automotive parts online. In 24 months they took this ecommerce business from zero to an retailing multi millions online with over 90 distributors. They were in business and breaking financial records but by 2006, Nick & Simon were up to their eyeballs in debt and discovered that having an amazing product or service is not enough to have a great business.
